Master of Psychiatric Epidemiology (MPE)


Admission Requirements


Applications will be reviewed by the Director, Associate Director, and the Executive Council. Qualified applicants will then be invited for interviews and may be accepted for admission at the start of the fall or spring semester.

Selection will be based on:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a Social Science or related field
  • Letters of reference
  • Scores on G.R.E., M.A.T. or similar examination (for non-NIH trainees)
  • Demonstrated interest in public health or psychiatric epidemiology
  • Career goals consistent with the M.P.E. Program
  • Potential contribution to the field of psychiatric epidemiology.
