Ujjwal Ramtekkar, M.B.B.S



Ujjwal P Ramtekkar, MBBS is a trainee in Psychiatric Epidemiology since January 2007. Dr. Ramtekkar completed his medical graduation from Government Medical College and Super-specialty hospital Nagpur, India in January 2005. During his medical graduation, Dr.Ramtekkar conducted research in cognitive aspects of Pediatric Sickle Cell disease and also was a co-investigator of research on pulmonary functions in different populations. He also served as a National student representative for IPPNW, which is a Nobel Peace Prize winner organization (1985) of physicians across world.

Dr.Ramtekkar is currently working with Dr. Linda Cottler, PHD, MPH on nosology, Validity of instrument for Drug abuse and a Study funded by World Aids Foundation.

Dr.Ramtekkar’s career interests are Child psychiatry and epidemiologic research in childhood psychiatric disorders. He also interested in research in basic psychopathology and use of behavioral modification in psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents.
