Contributions
In
press report on a RCT of music therapy in dementia. Submitted SEM paper
investigating possible mediation roles for temperance and character in
wellness based on a 2001 survey carried out by my mentor Robert
Cloninger. I am currently preparing a series of talks on the therapeutic
potential for character development, based on the empirical findings and
writings of Robert Cloninger. Also beginning to explore data from Cycle
3.1 of the 2005 Canadian Community Health Survey, which involved
approximately 130,000 respondents.
Testimonial
"The MPE
program was a once in a lifetime experience for me. I feel so fortunate
for having been able to take 18 months away from my work and be immersed
in such a premier scientific environment at Washington University.
During my time in the program, it felt like my preconceptions were being
challenged daily. However, I am certainly the richer for it. I am
hopeful that my discipline of music therapy will be the richer also, as I
use my new skills to help expand the evidential support for our
discipline."
